The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) partners with stakeholders to promote workplace safety and eliminate injuries and illnesses. Serving nearly 40,000 workers and 4,000 employers in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, the WSCC conducts over 1,000 inspections and handles more than 3,000 claims annually.
As the only workers’ compensation organization in Canada covering multiple regions, the WSCC collaborates with partners, including funding the Northern Safety Association to deliver essential health and safety training.

The Northwest Territories and Nunavut Construction Association (NNCA) is a non-profit representing nearly 200 companies in the northern construction industry, including contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
The NNCA supports its members by maintaining a plans room for reviewing tender documents, distributing standard construction documents, and publishing a weekly newsletter with job tenders, RFPs, and industry updates.
